Not a fan of Dannok, it's about 57km apart 1+ hr drive. Suspect you might get it there due to the characteristics of this border town.

In Hatyai city, you could try Santisuk or Kim Yong market. Plaza market still under renovation. Many many years ago, illegal pirated CD/DVD could be bought at these places. There are few cannabis/weed shop around, you could try asking them as well.

The problem you may encounter is when you cross the border by land. The Malaysian side custom specially on lookout for vapes.... easy kopi money.
Come down to CIQ/SG border oso the checks are on the ball paying more attention to vehicles coming down from LOS.
Do note vapes are now illegal too in both Malaysia & Singapore.
