Bro, I booked my hotel through https://www.ratestogo.com/ Hope it is reliable. Normally I book through hotels personal website.

If there are other better sites to book, please advise so that I can access them in future.

Thank you :)

Use Agoda.

A lot of time Agoda or similiar online sites gives better than booking direct through hotel...you can compare before committing

Good or no good, I dunno but it is in old quarter where most tourists stay. Most entertainment, good foods are there.

Re: Hanoi

My 1st 2 days in Hanoi have been pretty simple with minor shopping, visiting shopping centres around District 1 and District 2. I am not sure if I address them correctly but that's how I should phrase it for now.

The thing I experienced most is food and more food. I have not actually touched into the clubs yet so I am not going to waste my Tuesday and Wednesday, heading to check out at least 4 of them before I head back to SG, making it a good night for me.

I will agree the crowd is really bad especially the vehicles. There is just no sense of directions. It is worst than Bangkok man. People, cars and motorcycles, cutting out one another. Lucky my girlfriend is leading me the way during my trip if not I really do not know where should I begin.

I am not the type who goes sight seeing so places of interest is definately out of me. I am surely looking forward to my early KTV trip and then night out later in the evening. Hopefully I will be able to get in touch with Namelo and head out through the night.

Cheers

I can only say that some Bi A I went was damn unfriendly. It is near a dancing club which my girlfriend went. I left the place before I got into some trouble with the locals.

Thanks bro for the points. I think it is from you. Hahaha. Well, my past days have been average but definately visited a lot of different stalls and restaurants for meals.

I will write a good FR to share with you guys after I am back from Singapore.

All the while my tour trips get better when I frequent the place just like BKK and the cost of trip gets lower and lower.

This trip in Hanoi, I can spend as low as 200,000 for a meal to USD120. GOSH!!!

I hope tonight when I meet Naemlo, he will change my impression I have about Hanoi as of date because it has been pretty average for me with terrible traffic. I thought BKK was bad enough but this is worst and the police officers are really... no comments.

Hahaha. I do not wish to write any further negative comments about Hanoi just because I do not know how to appreciate it but I am sure, tonight, it will be different... I hope... hahaha.
