Recently topped up online, have no problem and they still extend by 1 year. Immediately after top up they extend by 1 month from the expiry date. Then within 24 hours, they extend 1 year from top up date. So eg. if expiry date is 5Jan2014 and top up date is 20April2013, they first extend by 1 month to 5Feb2014 and then within 24 hours they extend again to 20April2014.
