agree that pattaya is a lot cheaper than bkk but quality definately sucks ...
IMHO ...90% CMI .... but farangs like them ...
pattaya is cater mainly for them ... especially old farangs who want to stay there for a month or two and living on a low budget with a pattaya gal ..
no offense .... but this is exactly what i see and what my thai friend told me ..

i managed to find a fair-skinned at one of the sabai MPs. true that there are not many around.

to add, i don't mind tanned ladies, so pattaya was still quite alright for me.

when i was in pattaya bar-hopping, i met a cute SYT at one of the LB (jenny star or something) bars. she didn't seem like a LB to me, but i didn't wanna take any chances. :D

Its all a matter of personal taste. Some angmo like fair skin and some asians like dark skin. In Pattaya you can find 300B LT on the beach as well! But like you said , qualitity sucks. Worst than Deskar Road indian aunty! 5555 :D

But pattaya for me is still much much better than Bangkok. Beach , bitch and everything in between! Hotel with excellent pool is about 700B a nite , LT is about slightly above half the Bkk price for same qualitity. Everything a man wants is within a 15mins walk from Pattaya Central and you also find many thai 'tourist' looking for 'friends'.

What I see the main difference is the attitude. Maybe Pattaya is more a holiday town as compared to the capital. Bangkok gals tend to be more business like and its pay fuck-goobye-type. Pattaya girls tend to stay if you invite them a day at the beach or other tourist stuff.

Off course if its company send or on company expenses , Pattaya is too troublesome la! And also Bangkok Nana nite out is better than Golden Mile!

Anyone can meet me in Pattaya for songkran (April 19 2009) and I will buy you a beer. Condition is you buy me back one if you enjoy Pattaya more than Bangkok! :p

yea i hear there r many ofc girls, FLs girls, Young KTVs Mamasan/Girls tat always flocks to Pattaya in groups on most of the weekends to unwind n relax as well as those Thai-based Japanese tat would bring their "Thai kept mistresses/gfs" along while they on business near Chonburi...many even bring them along to see the Ago go naked shows everytime hahaha

so during daytime esp. Sat u can get to see/meet many Thai tourists tat goes there but the fair-skin ones will probably be cowering under the shades covered head to toes haha:p

I think its not the attitude but more to the environment, BKK girls also would stay n relax with u if u wan but comparing to Pattaya nothing beats relaxing by the beach sipping a Pink Colada walking around n partying in ur slippers n shorts, thou i jus dun have the thing for these farang-inclined Pattaya girls, maybe its their "Sarong Party Girls behaviour" tat sometimes turn me off...whereas BKK girls will be more demure n shy?

There'll be some jams along the way to Chonburi. Everywhere people splash water and flour along the roads from their pickups. During Songkran the traffic in BKK is a breeze. You wish the traffic is like this everyday in BKK! Maciam have ERP gantries. Haha.

I've only experienced Songkran one time in BKK. Sorry but Songkran is not for me because I don't like to get splashed with water/flour from inconsiderate fools. Also Songkran period is a bad time for cheongsters to come. Obviously I think I don't need to explain why it is so.

u mean songkran is a bad time is cus of the getting wet part?
i tot lots of thais always chioing us to go down during songkran saying its one of most sanuk festivals?

i hear many tourist spots like Pattaya, Phuket, Hua Hin, Koh Samui normally will be quite deserted as many will go back to their hometown to visit their parents, but seems from many reports, BKK is still bustling during this period esp. the discos n g-clubs?
