You can get three one-hour tug jobs by at CCK kapoo, with THB130 to spare, no tricks :D

Hi guys, the question I'm askingforget not be suited to this thread but I would like to seek the advice ansession iences of the veterans who chiong to BKK on a frequent or occasionally basis.

I'm going to to BKK on the 28th evening and coming back on 31st afternoon. So it's about 2 days from now. I was wondering, can I survive on 2500 baht per day, assuming I don't go for the massages or clubs at night?

The reason why I ask this question is because the only two times I've been to BKK, BLD (Breakfast Lunch and Dinner) is provided and paid for. Now that I'm going with my friend, I have take in to account with all the necessities. Hence the question.

Thanks.

2500 baht per night for 1 person only should be adequate if you don't drink or chiong any of the bars. You probably have to stay away from nana or Soi cowboy.

You can very much forget about any entertainment.

You can save a lot on food by just eating street food or buy maggee mee and eat in your hotel.

You might be able to save for 1 or 2 massage session. Others you can forget it.

But the main concern would be your escort. Because I think you have to pay for her food and transportation too.

Because I think the cost you spent to book her is only for her time. It's excluding all other expenses.

And don't forget to save some cash for your journey back to the airport. Traffic jam in Thailand is much more worse than in Singapore.

To me Bkk is quite expensive city to chiong. No longer like per last 6 years ago.

If you cheong those touristy Agogo Bars and Soapy Massage Parlours confirm very expensive.
But also have many value avenues.
Bangkok has a lot of variety and choices where other provinces cannot match.

For solely drinking Chiang Mai is so much cheaper than Bangkok.
That is for sure! :D

For tug jobs I prefer to do it in China.

Only lazy people will fall into the traffic jam "trap".
Use a combination of trains and motorcycle taxis.
Where will "jam"?

Everywhere you go in Bangkok want to take taxi confirm will "jam".

Can I bypass the traffic jam using the skytrain or their MRT equivalent?

You can take the airport rail link from airport to the city and city to airport.

Actually to answer your this funny question.
The answer is no.
When you cheong in a group it may become more expensive as compared to an individual who cheongs alone.
Just ask those selfish jokers who like to any how order F&B and lady drinks.
Totally don't spare a thought for their group members who go dutch with them.

For a moment, my hopes went up high when I saw that you survive on less than 1000 baht in 2 weeks...........until I see the disclaimer.

Re: Bangkok Field Report

I think 1000 baht is possible for 2 weeks.

You just stay in your apartment/hotel throughout the 2 weeks eating maggee mee everyday.

Or if you have thai gf maybe she can cook for you also.
