Just suggesting for bros who like to stay near soi cowboy area or those who manage to get cheap deal for hotels in that area due to protests.

I apologize if this is wrong advice or repeated advice.
Although I feel still worth it to stay there if u pack light. Bypass protest using bts.

No need apologize bro... but I don't see any value, other than your life, in staying there at this time. Care to enlighten me what so "worth" it to stay there? Many other hotels in Bangkok offering good rates too.

Even on the BTS walkway when the bullets fly, how safe you think you would be? When the mobs run amok into the sois and surrounding areas, how safe can you be? Bullets no eye to see. A frenzied rampaging mob safe?

Ah ok. I see your point. I don't feel in any danger when I was there but of course things can escalate. Anyway, thanks for replying

I was also having dinner at "Siam Square Walking Street" last week. Yeah I know was against better judgement. Only thing I can say about this nonsense so far was it made crossing the road from Siam Square to Paragon so much easier. But there is always the "calm before the storm".

BTW I forgot to add - grenades!

POLICE and PROTESTERS CLASH

Watched the clips of protester against the police in today's noon protest.

Wondering how is our Mr Glock. He used to join the protest too. Never heard from him ever since after I replied to his post about Thailand protest last two weeks ago.

BRAVE POLICEMAN KICKS AWAY GRENANDE

Suthep is better at lying and acting blur than any bar girls you would meet. Maybe he's Thai AND a politician? Tonight he said the grenade was dropped by the police on his own legs.

The video link above clearly shows the grenade was thrown at police lines from the protester's direction.

you can only hope but seriously, unless you are going on business and your company would like to play it safe. Bangkok is perfectly safe despite the protest.

Switch off the tv, stay off twitter and you may just avoid news of the protest entirely. I'm slightly peeved they have allow the situation to stay stale so long. well who's gonna blink. We can say all we want, about how much we care about thailand, well to most only bangkok but it's their fight let's just spectate and spend some money there.

Bro sojo,

The common Thai people is suffering because of politics.
I'm not interested in their political tussles and I personally have been to Bangkok during this protest period.

So you've made a very good point.
To some of us Thailand holds a special place in our hearts.
So if really want to help Thailand please go and spend money in Thailand NOW and not just NATO.
Cheers! :)
