Buji is not so much a cowboy town, about 40% of the residents here are Hongkongers so cantonese is the main dialect but, hey this is China, so mandarin also can. As usual, caution for all frequent travellers prevail like not to go into any back alleys after dark and be careful of fantastic offer be it, sex or any thing.......somethings here may be cheap and good but NOT that cheap and good!!!! Just be wary. I usually recommend Kindlion Hotel (布吉街，凯利莱酒店） to my friends coming here becos the hotel is clean, safe ....and cheap (under 250rmb per night after discount due to my membership)

FYI, actually we no need to go so far a way to buji. in shenzhen futian, luohu got some nice cheong place la.

for example,
Futian portion:
1. jiazhou 佳舟客栈 120mins (2Q)service just like DG for RMB428.
**i was use to be here. haha.
2. jinhailun 金海润 same as above.
3. shenlinyuan 森林源 price should same as above

luohu portion:
1. dongshen 东森 *RMB368 for 1Q HJ+1QML
2. huali shishang 华丽时尚 *RMB368 for 1Q HJ+1QML
3. ritao 日涛 *approx RMB368 for 1QML
4. boston 伯斯顿 **i forgot the price

by the way, CRH is at luohu, you may take train to DG or ZMT for fun.

Million Tks for the advice given on pickpockets and shopping area like dongmen ...understand that booking of hotel thru ctrip is good too.

Im staying at SZ for 2 days before heading to HK ... Need a good hotel recommandation at louhu area (abt S$60-80) ... ideally inside hotel or walking distance got sleazy happening place (for short time) ... if bros got trusted contacts (can pm me) for chionging i.e. mamasan then it be great...

Forgive my noob query. At the Fu Tian area, Hua Qiang Bei Lu, any naughty handy-panky happenings ? Walked around but it seems more like a business district. Need to venture to the other areas mentioned in this thread for action instead ?

Towards dusk, some aunties would be standing at some corners shouting "Ah Piao, ah piao.....". At first glance it seems that they are OKT runners but then again, they are doing this within earshot of the SZ police or traffic wardens.....

haha...it is not "ah piao" it is say "Fa piao" meant receipt in chinese...they are buying that for tax declaration....

hello fellow seniors, i will go going to shenzhen next week, for just one night. will be staying at this hotel called Starshine hotel, 星雅轩酒店. this is my first time there. does any brothers here know if got any kangtao at this hotel or nearby the hotel within the walking distance, that i can 'tapao' back to hotel? coz only one night there, cannot afford to go there and search around. must get some tips from fellow brothers here. Thanks!!!
