there is a small mall which as a lot of jap food at sukhumvit soi 31 , if you are in the area I really recommend going there, the jap restaurants are on the top level. super affordable quality sashimi and ramen are around.

Me and my buddy went to Thailand but had 4 jap food dinners :p:p

Juz been to Climax @ Sukhumvit soi 11 last nite. Here's my observation & comments abt the place.
- 1 of the very few FL joints which hav live band & DJs jamming & spinning musics. The live band standard is quite gd, definitely better than most Thai disco in S'pore. The DJ is pretty decent too, music quite pop oso.
- There's a dance floor @ the centre, arnd the DJs console. Typically, u'll see Farangs dancing there wif their "catch" or perhaps some desperate FLs dancing their Ass off to attract attentions.
- Most important part, the gals. 1st thing u need to know that this is a Farang majority turf. When my buddy & I were there, we were kinda overwhelmed by the fact that we suddenly became the minority. So I dun hav to elaborate the kinda "working ladies" down there waiting to be "fished". Unless u hav "exotic" taste for minahs-looking, mainly dark skinned chix, then this is prob no the place for u liao (not for me oso :) ) Perhaps coming early might hav enhanced my experienced there, as I was there wif my buddy arnd 1am. Prob the prettier chais were alrdy been "fished" liao.
- I really couldn't comment on the range of pricing as I really didn't see any FLs that fit the bill for me. But since this is a Farang turf, I doubt the tabao price will be "economic". O
Conclusion: Gd place to chill IF u alrdy hav a chai wif u the music is actually not bad & the demographic of chais might be for every1.

Walk around and look at which one u fancy. Smile at the girl and when she reciprocrates, invite her over. U can either buy her a drink or straight away ask her for ST or LT price. If u find it within your budget , proceed. If not, just look for another one. ST is normally done within the premises at the hotel upstairs or some hotel nearby if there is.

Last month I went, can only have shisha on 2nd level. First level no longer can smoke shisha. Shisha lovers can go to thonglor soi10, the building beside Muse club. Lots of shisha pubs in that building with quality girls to look at

Friday night was at Khaosan......... Bangkok Bar surprisingly good......... Downstairs bistro style, level 2 theres a small indoor pub with thai live band......... Many many locals, only downside abit too small......... 1600bht for Red Label with 3 bottles of mixers n 1 ice bucket free......... :) never knew locals actually party in khaosan too, now i see khaosan in another light.......... :p

Not too sure about second level though....... I was sitting on the first level near fountain n asked the waitress if shisha is available, she told me no more......... Even at Khaosan, cant seem to find anymore shisha joints......... Looks like only indoor places would secretly sell them due to the ban on shisha..........
