Good day fellows!

I know some might question me for asking answered questions before, but I didn't get to head to BKK last time - headed to JP for holidays. Anyways, just a general enquiry, from new BKK airport to Palazzo hotel along Ratchadapisek Road is approximately how long via airport limousine? Secondly, I hear its a journey away from Patpong/Nana/Soi Cowboy. I'd like to know from Palazzo, how far by tuktuk/taxi is it from those areas?

Also, from the above conversations, I understand that you all recommended Orient highly. May I know any estimate distance to the location via tuktuk/taxi? I havent been able to estimate the distance between the major nitespots.

Lastly, I'd like to know, if possible, any really good shopping centres nearby, like Central or something. I hear Paragon or something is good - with the aquarium or something. Also, any recommendations on interesting Go-Go bars with SYTs? MPs shouldn't be a problem because I'll be residing just beside the hotspots. Also, any recommendation for private massage w/ extra service in my hotel room? Please advise! I'm leaving 26th Feb, and spending 10 days in Chiang Rai, before meeting a group of friends in BKK for 5 days.

Palazzo Htl is about 40mins drive from the airport. U can take a taxi at the Departure hall (can't remember which 2nd or 3rd floor) and will probably cost you at most 300baht (include toll charge).

To SC/Nana/Patpong, you can easily take a meter taxi at Palazzo (a good location) which is cheaper and convenient than tuktuk as you don't have to bargain. Most likey <100baht.

Taking BTS, MRTA or meter taxi will be a better way to move around BKK. There're plenty of meter taxis plying the road every day (day and night). Most taxi drivers know the "interesting" spot in BKK. That's their rice bowl.

There're many shopping centres around BKK, at Ratchadapisek house the Carrefour, Robinson, Tesco, Jusco. Just get a map from the hotel or from the airport information counter, and you'll know the location of the shopping centres in BKK.

Hmm, 10 days in ChiangRai (a small and nice city)? Suppose you'll be doing trekking around the area? Not many puying hunting place but still have a few... The last time I stayed tthere was at Sabai Inn, and there're a number of pub/ktv (with PR) around there that mainly cater to locals. Price is reasonable.
