Nice breakdown on your expenses. Tight, damn tight! Each time i go BKK i also set a budget. But everytime also exceed budget by miles without fail.. :(

The only thing i can save on is the airfare, cause i dont really care for the comfort since its only 2.5hrs, apart from that i virtually overspend on everything else.

Cause everytime i begin to realise i'm spending abit too fast, i got this mindset " aiya, not everyday come holiday, just enjoy myself to the fullest la!" So no matter how much thai baht i prepare also always used up, either visit money changer or use card.

i believe its possible to stick to a budget, but u really must be strong willed. avoid places like clubs, bars, practically THE WHOLE RATCHADAPISEK. but that somehow defeats the purpose of a holiday right? esp one in BKK. ;)

maybe your money all stashed in the bank leh. fatter than my bank account. hard to say wor. :cool: nowadays my money goes into Macau jackpot machines more than into nightlife Thai puying's pockets. at least you get to have a shot of hitting the jackpot or win some bonus money. for Thai girls? haha i think the odds are very slim.

these days very hard to save on airfares even booking months ahead due to rising fuel prices. booking months in advance also come up to around $200. :( if you have checked Tiger Airways prices lately. you will find pricing for a return trip for both BKK and Macau is the same! BKK really losing its attractiveness to me even though i have stayed there for a period of time.

REASONS:
1) unfavourable exchange rates
2) rising costs in cheonging places
3) better value elsewhere in the region. (eg. Macau and China)

in regards to the budget. it all boils down to discipline. learn from past mistakes or avoid certain pricey establishments. for budget MPs hit Petchuri or Rama 9. 900B and up. but of course what you pay is what you get.

you're right. i've checked out the 3 budget airlines for tix in july which i suppose is low season period, all came out to $220 plus. Cathay n Thai abt $370. I think no matter how early we book in advance, its no longer possible to secure tix below $180 which i did so a year back.

i've never ventured into MPs off ratchada, always not enough time for that. there's this stretch opp RCA, used to always makan there before hitting the clubs, couple of MPs think LOVE BOAT or somethin.. will pay those a visit during next trip if going to club at RCA.

ok now, lets not go on, else someone saying i going off track n not contributing any FRs.. :rolleyes:

In Manila, Philipines, former clark air base. There are virgins working in the bar whom are willing to offer their virgin to the man for the right price. @ least S$2.5k above. Virgins are certified by local doctor. I have been there once & that's i heard from my friend.

After Sazanka stroll outside and find a pub Rolling Stones almost next door. Small pub, tables out front, cute young girls working there. You buy lady drinks & chat and play pool with them. The place is not really conducive to much raba, unless it's different very late and drunk. The menu on the table states barfine 500. I was playing pool with a girl looking so young sweet and wholesome I could not even imagine taking her out for a screw. Really felt parental :o
