He always say only but never provide details one. Another talk and no action one. I really keen to know how he claims to get taxi in less than 10mins. Maybe he thought my soi 4 is sukhumvit soi 4 nana izzit? There of cos got taxi,dun need wait 10mins,i think 30secs got liao. :rolleyes:

He also expert in knowing thai DECENT university undergraduates in Yaaaahhooooo chatrooms. Also super rich ones leh, but he did not manage to coax them under his wings. *LOL*

Not tat I wanna be harsh, juz tat I find the info given by pple here is sufficient. Plus, reading up abit on the threads on BKK here, can give u info on inexpensive hotels, MPs, Agogo bars, etc etc places. Wif tat, filter & compile the info in yr own way, get a map of BKK, then juz hit the streets!

Street-smartness cannot really be taught. U gotta learn from experience. In fact, from the postings I saw from many pple, though they're familiar wif BKK / Thailand, the prices they quoted / paid are still high!!!

Not to mention u can speak Thai fluently, u may get better rates 4 many things than non-Thai speakers. Juz curious, u dun seem to be familiar wif BKK, but how come u can speak Thai fluently? Do u go to other parts of Thailand frequently, or are u of Thai heritage?

Hi all,

well, my mom is a pure thai-chinese, and i've been to thailand almost every year for probably a month. despite this, i've yet to travel to the nightlife scene, thus it's pretty much of a culture shock to me.

reasons for quoting for syts is because given my age, it feels awkward having someone older to do it for ya - its very weird. moreover, i do understand there are lots of choices to choose from, but it would be nice to have a few reliable tips to assist me through this period.

as for my budget, i mean, i will be bringing much more than what i mentioned obviously, but my intention is to get the best deal for my buck. anyways, i'll probably just go there and figure out myself how best to handle the situation.

and lastly, and establishments in sg/th offer better exchange rates? so i can get best value? thanks. golden mile?

In fact,i seen a few not so good looking guys who have really nice looking babes in SG when i was back for CNY. Times have changed i guessed.

Now i old liao,passed the generation liao,how to bring u go see meimei? :D

In bangkok,when i go local pubs where the dek thais go to. Particularly one incident where i was with my group of girls,as well as intro new ones as friends to me. Then next table there was this nerdy looking guy.

In SG standards,he wears a spectacle which is damn old fashioned,and his hair is like a MOB,and he dress really bad. But i actually overheard and spoke to my galfrens and they said he looks cute. I was like..looking at him the whole nite with a bunch of girls ( very jude looking wearing tubes young fair girls ). I did raise my cup and got the chance to get to their table for some interaction.

thai girls have weird sense of liking for thai guys indeed.At least for some. :eek:
