I sometimes call a driver to pick me but it costs almost double the price... But saves a whole lot of time. If you need one I can give u his contact. Have been using him for almost a decade already.

JUst to share. Some bro said sg-hk then to sz will be better. Its still depend on how much cheaper to hk ? For me if i come from sg to hk, then will at hk airport took 7 seater small bus to sz, at least don need to carry your luggage walk here and there also. And i remember the 7seater just around rmb120-140 only. The bus will alight you at 皇岗 area also. If shenzhenair got promotion, you can try take that also.

I prefer hkg... cheaper by cathay too. but to tink of goin pass the chk point twice I headache liao, if travel to hkg, must pass thru hkg immigration than szx immigration again... plus hear from my colleague the q is super super long...

need advise from senior here kumsia.

My previous experience was I book Flyscoot (about S$200 both ways under promotion) to HK. I reach HK around 6am. Take my own sweet time to clear the custom. After clearing custom around 6.40am, I walked to the bus terminal of the airport. I queue for bus A43 (macem sg SBS bus) that cost around 20 to 60HKD (cant remember exact fare cos i pay for 2 pax) which start the service at 7am. There is a compartment for u to put ur luggage once u boarded the bus. It can fit up to 4ft (120cm) luggage bag. So dun worry how big is ur luggage and early in the morning not much people.

After about 30-40mins of journey, I reached a bus stop just beside Sheung Shui MRT station (Along the way, the bus will stop and there is indication of the bus stop name). From Sheung Shui MRT station (See HK MRT station map), i took a KCR East Rail to Luo Hu station (2 stations). After alighting from the train is the custom. After clearing the SZ custom (Early in the morning no people, took less than 5mins to clear), u can go to Luo Hu Metro (MRT train) and go to whatever destination u like. Reached my hotel 8.30am and room is not ready. Go to Lao Jie and ba long long around. Hahahaha.

Prostitution crackdown expands in China

Report from China Daily dated 13 February 2013 :-

Prostitution crackdown expands in China

GUANGZHOU - The crackdown on the underground sex trade has expanded from Dongguan, in the heart of the Pearl River Delta, to all of Guangdong province, with local authorities vowing to severely punish those who protect the illegal services.

In addition to the closure on Sunday of dozens of entertainment venues involved in prostitution in Dongguan, a number of similar venues and some rented houses in the provincial capital of Guangzhou and other cities have been raided because of suspicion they hosted sex trade services and other illegal activities, Guangdong police sources said.

Following media outlets' recent reports of rampant prostitution in massage parlours and hotels in Dongguan, provincial police have announced a three-month crackdown on sex businesses across the province.

In a separate raid in Guangzhou on Tuesday night, police arrested 98 people suspected of involvement in illegal activities including the sex trade and gambling, and more than 20 entertainment venues were closed.

In Huizhou, which neighbours Dongguan, police raided nearly 600 entertainment venues and arrested 10 people on suspicion of involvement in the sex trade.

Li Chunsheng, vice-governor of Guangdong and director of the Guangdong Public Security Department, said government officials and police officers who provide a "protection umbrella" for the prostitution business will be severely punished.

According to Li, the provincial department will send working groups to all cities for undercover investigations, and police from other cities will be deployed to make arrests if local police fail to fulfil their responsibilities.

Sources with the Dongguan discipline inspection commission vowed on Wednesday to also remove and severely punish any officials and police officers who are found to be involved in the sex trade.

Following China Central Television's report on the rampant illegal sex trade in Dongguan, Hu Chunhua, Party chief of Guangdong, called for a tough crackdown on underground prostitution in the city.

"We should fight against prostitution in the same way we fought against the drug trade last year," Hu said.

Police said those who advertise prostitution services online, through text messages or via Internet chat software will also be severely punished

I believe this crackdown covers all of Guangdong Province and including Shenzhen. Unless you are okay with just visiting tourist sights and having veggie massage, I would suggest that you cancel or postpone the trip. KTV would be very boring as they are under the spotlight now.

Bros, just to update from HKIA to shangshui A43 cost HK30.9 and take train to LuoHu cost HK22.5 and take around 1.5 hr to reach Shenzhen from HKIA. Mant hotels in LuoHu that cost around 200-2000RMB depend on stars. You can book through local website elong or ctrip , they have discount.
