Please note that there are NO trains between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. You need to actually walk/cross over from Shenzhen via either the Lowu or Lok Ma Chau border crossings and board the train already on the Hong Kong side.

From Lowu/Lok Ma Chau to the first station - Sheung Shui - the economy fare is 21.60 using an octopus card or $22.50 using a single journey ticket. To the end of the East rail at Hunghom, the fare is $34.40/36.00 - and of course less if you get off before reaching HungHom. (There is a first class carriage for double the price)

Intercity Direct Train from Guanghou East (12 times/day) and Chang Ping (10 times/day) to Hung Hom is available. There is also a once a day Direct service from/to Beijing and Shanghai.

Hi all bros,

Just to give a quick FR on the ground...

Was at Luo Hu Cun just now around 11PM.. It was a COMPLETE DEAD TOWN...

There were no MMS rushing around for your business.. and there was more or less nobody on the streets at all...

I also spotted 2 "gong guan" wearing army uniform.. standing below the apartments performing some random checks.. looking at the house numbers and cross-checking it with some list they had in their hands...

There was also another group of uniformed personnel gathered in another spot near to LHC having some discussions...

Too many patrols going on.. even if a MMS approached me just now, I might not have went for fear of being checked in the room..

looks like it's going to be a quiet month in SZ....

You just take the train/MTR straight to the border last station Luohu (East Railway/Rail Line), pass the custom from HK will be in Luohu.

Yes - just go to the Mainland China Bus area at Chek Laqp Kok and chose one.

If there's not one directly to your particular hotel, chose one in your hotel's general area in Shenzhen - Taxis are plentiful and quite cheap.

most shenzhen numbers can auto roamimg in hong kong
the shop can activate this feature for you when you buy the card but you have to request for it
some shenzhen numbers can also make international calls to singapore and korea direct ;)
unlike other cities
eg in dalian, a sim card to call overseas one have to put a deposit of 2000 rmb
at china mobile office and register your passport details:eek:

Shenzhen scene is quite dead right now, don't know how long more before it will be back in action. I just came back from shenzhen and was staying in Nanshan district. My regular massage place is in a remote industrial place and caters mostly to locals. They do have girls that provide specials but things have changed after the crackdown.

Now the attach bathrooms are all sealed. The girls tell me that they no longer provide happy endings except for regular customers. Even then, it has to be done very discreetly. What surprises me is that such remote massage palours are also not taking risks. I think it will take some time before regular action comes back to shenzhen massage palours.

Yup, all dead. I'm in Nanshan and it's not the same as before. However, they are saying things will change from next week. I myself do not believe in such rumors.
