School holiday can be fun!

Dont be stupid ; if you want to try stuff like these , do it in singapore where you know what to do in case of emergencies. In case she (or is it actually you?) have a violent reaction to the drugs , your problems just to call an ambulance in thai would waste precious time.

If you still insist on dong it , becareful of urine/blood test when you re-enter Singapore. You (opps sorry I mean your GF!) ; can still be charged fo taking illegal substances.

But if you still insist on doing it , play safe and ask for the 1D10T Consent Forms before you leave Singapore. Just ask the immigration officer before you leave Sg customs.

I would never recommend taking illegal substances inside Singapore where the laws are draconian and unreasonable by developed world standards. Thailand is still much more reasonable about this if you get caught chances are you'd pay just a big fine for a pill or two. I have some Thai friends who got tested at a roadblock and caught with pills after a party. They paid a fine and it was no big deal. Even with foreigners a small amount means a substantial bribe and you're usually let loose.

It's true you risk your health however if you involve yourself with recreational drugs there's always that inherent risk.

I agreed with the tough law in SG dealing with illegal drugs. It has to be tough to maintain law and orders. I think staying in SG is so much safer and fortunate.

I personally know a teenage into pills...Initially, he took pill just for fun like others but soon he was taking pills regularly and was caught a few times having pills, drugs and stealing. His parents have to always go to police station to "bail" him out. To any Thai teenagers, if caught having pills/drugs just pay and nothing will happen. Thus no one is afraid and drugs still continue. Will anyone wants this to happen to his/her kid in SG???

Drink driving is another big concern in Thailand. My ger's relative, whole family who was in a drink, driving car accident, the whole family died on the spot except an infant. Without tough law, a Thai will think, it is ok to drink and drive, if caught just give money.

Most of us did not encounter the situations mentioned, will think SG law is tough and inhuman but if incident does happened to his/her family then he/she will realize why aren't the law tough to stop druggies and drink driving???

bro, that's how all drug addicts got hooked in the first place. they are "curious" and "just want to try only".

No matter how good she is a drinker, a bottle of whisky, she will get high. If not, I personally will make her high in drinking.... I do not and will not touch illegal drug.

Thai prisons are not comfortable either....And the drug dealer may eventually report you to the police in order to get a reward.

Too true. Recreational drug use is a risk/reward activity.

Singapore is a city-state so I understand certain measures must be undertaken historically and currently speaking to keep things in check. Draconian laws are a measurement of insecurity though. I disagree with it on principle because freedom also gives you freedom to make your own errors. It should not regulate every activity in your life unless that activity impedes in the freedom or livelihood of others.

Singapore has a lot of good laws. Drunk driving is one of them but not the other categories.
