The cost of cheonging in Danok is more fun than playing hide and seek with MIBs. All is needed is to save a couple of nights out and the cost is about the same.... There are a few active groups going there very regularly. But I think this group is the most regular ones. Every week some one is there. if you need any assistance, just shout. I am from where you are from...... just that I have to run my boss biz in Malaysia, JB to KL to Ipoh to Penang to SP.... and sneaking into Danok to relax nit noi nit noi..... No need to envy, all you need is co ordinate with this group to Penang/Danok and link up. Or we can TT... et88 |

Their hokkien mee is unfortunately so-so also. It's fine in a pinch when desperate, but sadly can't touch ours back home. :( They also have mee goreng etc. Quote:
If anyone is interested, there is a muu ka ta just further up that road, towards Sutthisarn with separate hot coal brazier for seafood. They interestingly also have Tiger beer. Further down towards Meng Zai, there is an excellent porridge/cai peng place that's open until 3+am, at the head of the soi. It's just after the overhead bridge, and pretty brightly lit, so you can't miss it. |
