Taxi fare from Airport to Town
Quote:
Toll plaza fees = 25 bahts + 45 bahts = 70 bahts Airport tax ( to be given to taxi driver ) = 50 bahts So add 120 bahts to the meter reading = taxi fare |

I take the free airport shuttle to the bus station (at the airport) and take a public bus, aircon and pretty comfortable at 52 bahts to Victory Monument and move from there. Taxi with toll and airport levy to Ratchada should not be more than 250 bahts. Like one bro did, just jump onto the taxi at departure hall, no levy and just make sure the meter is on.... The rest is the mercy of traffic jam. Don't bother waiting for the 'MRT' to come on line......... may MAY only happen mid 2010....... because the present PM dare not make a stand.... too many political foes and friends to offend, not forgetting he gets nothing for now... pity him... good man, wrong place. No reason to be paying any thing more than 300 bahts....... 50 more if the jam is massive. choke dee.... |

I'll take it that the taxi fare should not be more than 400 baht then. The travel agency wants to charge me 600 baht for one-way airport transfer :( |
