I have given up on Tiger because of their unreliability.
They can suka suka cancel your confirmed flight and put you on another flight.

It depends which part of the town you are heading. Etc; To Rachada area with high way toll fees is approximately 250 Bahts. If you take a taxi on Sunday's morning, it will be slightly cheaper as the journey is smoother due to less traffic congestion. Always remember to ask the driver to turn on the meter when you hop into the taxi. Cheers.

sell first, than 'talk'... the commercial world (perhaps, here onli..as consumerism is not well protected as in US) are now taking consumers for granted..and with little govt intervention.. e.g.

- taxes go up altho econ goes down
- put more restriction on buyers/sellers <so they dun make $> but not on developers <so they make more $>
- news from somekind of g-agency shows tax didn't caused any change to the price of a cup of kopi/teh but didn't report that the portion is smaller by 20%-30%
etc, etc.

It's about 350 bahts to about 390 bahts, depending on which part of Bangkok City you want the taxi driver to drive you to

Toll plaza fees = 25 bahts + 45 bahts = 70 bahts

Airport tax ( to be given to taxi driver ) = 50 bahts

So add 120 bahts to the meter reading = taxi fare

That's the limo price, with people coercing you in arrival hall. Go to public taxi (just outside arrival hall). And as the rest bros here advised, just add toll + 50 airport charge to meter. Shd range total between bht250-350 depending on your stop. If the Q is too long, just pop upstairs to departure level and jump into awaiting cab (no 50 bt charge). Cops just give a wary eye on taxis waiting. I do that most times, as arriving in evening peak minus patience:p

Or wait for Dec trial run for airport train (looong overdue, delayed). But what's new for LOS?;)

Those airport limo (large saloon or mpv) prices start from 800 to 1200 bahts. If u have lots of time to burn:rolleyes: or lots of patience, try taking the Airport Express bus to downtown (150 bahts only) at level 1. I did travelled on it once (got some time to burn while waiting for bro Playman's entourage arrival on the next flight) it takes about 90 min. to reach Asok station. The bus is not using the express way but the congested federal road.

Yo, Bro...

I take the free airport shuttle to the bus station (at the airport) and take a public bus, aircon and pretty comfortable at 52 bahts to Victory Monument and move from there.

Taxi with toll and airport levy to Ratchada should not be more than 250 bahts. Like one bro did, just jump onto the taxi at departure hall, no levy and just make sure the meter is on.... The rest is the mercy of traffic jam.

Don't bother waiting for the 'MRT' to come on line......... may MAY only happen mid 2010....... because the present PM dare not make a stand.... too many political foes and friends to offend, not forgetting he gets nothing for now... pity him... good man, wrong place.

No reason to be paying any thing more than 300 bahts....... 50 more if the jam is massive.

choke dee....

Thanks to all helpful bros :)
I'll take it that the taxi fare should not be more than 400 baht then.

The travel agency wants to charge me 600 baht for one-way airport transfer :(
