imho, those days seem ok. The King's birthday is on 5 Dec and no Thai in their right mind will make trouble around that period. Anyway, that aside, the press always exaggerate the situation. Don't be misled by the newspaper. Bkk is generally a very safe place. In you heard of any protests, just avoid that area, that's all.

Noted your specs requirement,

you may note the specs of those in my FOC tours

1) Mostly, not so sweet. depend on your diabetic level
2) Relative, most are slightly younger, I about 60.
3) All used to be 1.7m, but now hunch back a bit and become 1.45m
4) Used to be, nowadays, cunt see. They wear loose loose pajamas
5) They are very fair in their biz, trade, never over charge for the food.
6) see 4), but suspect have papaya hanging, some over the shoulder
7) They usual Big C, stuff are cheaper for them
8) They speak Thailish, ' ah hia, cum cum, cheap cheap one'
9) All sure well educated, if not they still in the padi fields
10) Nowadays, slightly more than 45lbs..... milk all dried up
