But a high average starting pay should be like what ahbengsony bro mentioned.

For Thailand, the annual bonus is quite high I think depending on which industies you are in. One of my decent Thai OL friend who works in the automobile line (not a sales role) got 6 months bonus last year - her first job and first bonus. She said Thai grad if possible want to work in oil&gas industry, next automobile.

Of cos she is only one sample Thai grad. And this cannot represent the true picture.

The problem is can the graduate find a job in the first place with their degree.
I have thai friends who graduated and cannot find jobs befitting their degree for few years and even one with US degree work as ground crew for one of the thai airlines being paid peanuts.

this is the sad situation in bkk now same as taipei. Uni grad but can't find decent paying job. entry level 10-12k if lucky... unless parents rich and powerful.
I have some friends no choice but to ask more money from their poor parents and get MBA.
How many fellow bros have female friends in bkk that always kena harass at office?

my friend in the finance industry who is an expat there maks about 100k baht per month. he speculates that normal thai grads make at least 15k a month. the ones who went to better established schools can command 25-30k

he also says if someone earns about 60k baht a month as a local, can afford a condo and a car...easily (those are his words)

This is the reason why at the end of the day, everyone should strive to work for him or herself. It is time to "rescue" the Thai mei meis from their harassment by giving them an opportunity to work for themselves or have multiple streams of income.

you are absolutely right. Most of the average entry banking job is asking for MBA in Bangkok. One of my Thai friends going UK fo MBA. One Taiwan friends going USA. Problem is that there are too many subpar universities that take in lousy students. Only those from the elite ones are getting the job. Oh well, that's life.

MBA students can get job with slight higher pay. Take an example, my friend got her MBA, works in HP and now getting 25k, 10k better than her local peers.
