Lolx..u r right bro...they lost to Sevilla early this morning 2-1 :(... another semi final lost :(...sigh...the defence was guilty of letting in the goals while the strikers couldn't take the chances they created...only Bruno Fernandez is their saviour again scoring from the penalty spot ..if they keep losing at the semi final or final stage how r they ever going to win any silverware ????...they hv not won anything for the last 3 years...at least JM could win them 2nd place in league n got them the Europa Cup...wat abt this guy OGS ???

Kind of expected loss...but they way the 2 goals were conceded.....really baffling!

1st goal
This one is B Williams fault....he was way out of position.
Why was he so close to Maguire? Suso got acres of space to cut in and take shot.
B Williams inexperience had shown again and Sevilla expectedly capitalise this weakness and yet no Plan B from OGS.
Was expecting him to start Matic so can help with defensive...but Fred started.
Both goals concede from left side, as expected.

2nd goal
First off, Williams again slow but managed to keep up. Couldnt stop the killer pass from Navas.
What happened next baffled me....Maguire should have aim to clear the ball...but didn't see him jump at all.
Lindelof ball watching as expecting AWB to challenge L de Jong....
AWB for some reason drop L de Jong at the last minute and expecting Lindelof to deal with de Jong.....
Think de Jong was surprised with the gifted ball...how could he miss from that position??

Terrible defending....total lack of communication in the backline.

To be frank, Utd didn't play that bad, there were chances...but Sevilla keeper was composed...denied Martial thrice by coming out just in time.

Agreed with bro lacoruna on this...the reason why they lost against Sevilla :(...sigh...but why was the loss expected ??? ...heard pple advising them to take Harry Kane from Spurs rather than Sancho if they want to win trophies next season...they must be willing to break their bank, close their eyes and pay for top talent ;)...anyway Sancho don't cum cheap compared to Kane

I did a head to head check and Sevilla had beaten Man U twice in European games. Man U had yet to beat them.

I think Man U should fix the defence first rather than focus on Sancho.
He is good but BVB really want to hang him up to sell at a good price.

Lindelof is just too weak playing as CD. Maguire got the stature but he needs to justify the Captain's armband and the hefty 80m pound tag.
He needs to command the backline which I dun see him doing that in many matches.

Bruno fits the bill more as Captain, I feel.

They really shd hv won on the night...saw them rain many shots at the sevilla goal but sadly none could get in becos they had luck n good defenders.. yes u r right, they shd ship deadwood defenders out like lindelof n maguire n get new good defenders who are quick enough to challenge for the ball... and yes, Bruno shd be the captain, for all the goals he hv helped the team to score since his coming...

Maguire cost Utd 80m pounds....so no choice have to keep.
He got the stature to defend high balls and score corners.

BUT.........

Time to strip him off Captaincy and give the armband to Bruno.....

Sevilla is the newly crowned champion of EL.

In football there is no "IF".

That 80m pounds is desperate buy?

HM is not in the same class of VVD and Koulibaly.

Leicester scored a bargain with that deal. When the buying club is Utd and the player is English, automatically the price doubles. Plus Englands run in the WC also helped.

ever since the glazers took control of the club, the management has a habit of dragging negotiations and end up overpaying for players at the last minute, for eg fellaini, mata, maguire, fernandes. no doubt some selling clubs will hang up to sell, its better when the management is decisive and the squad can properly prepare together with new signings

And till now they haven’t even sign 1 player yet... Ed Woodward is lousy at doing deal... and sancho is not going to Manchester United at least for the next season I Guess... I wonder who will they sign?

And the transfer saga for this 2 months is will Messi leave Barcelona and go to Manchester City?
