Really good live cover band who play all the classic rock n some 80-90s tracks... ACDC fans will be very pleased! Crowd here is upper class thai business folk with a few farangs... very nice place to have a pre-night out drinks with u're crew b4 storming BKK There is also an ICE bar upstairs... its basically a meat freezer room which has a bar inside carved out of ICE! They only serve shots inside as I doubt anyone could withstand the cold long enough to polish off any other drink.
I really liked the atmosphere of this, defo will return again someday.

Thermae Coffee shop
Location: Sukhumvit Road, between entrance of soi13 n 15
Type: Bar/ FL joint
Girls: x/10 many shapes n sizes from really old to really young
Price: drinks r dirt cheap here, girl prices may vary depending on the girls but an average 6/10 girl was asking around 3000baht for LT. some cute gems can be found but shes usually holding out for some samurai bros, still worth a look if your passing by

Was standing there by myself waiting get in when random Jap guy (mid30s) asked me if i was there alone trying to fish girls (smart guy) he asked me if wanted to team up or not, sure y not. Had 2-3 drinks with him said thank u n left as that club wasnt that happening, probly cos it was a weekday.

Mostly FLs who fancy themselves as being the cream of the crop (not really true) but u do get a few part-timers running a game here from uni girls to real estate agents to haridressers to accountants even! Some really fine central asian girls here sometimes quoting a whopping 10Kbaht LT early on but if u hang in there it will drop to about 5Kbaht after midnight although the regular patrons there can easily afford the 10K price tag so if u really see one u like n u hit it off, I'd say just go for it :D

Ya loh... that's one of my biggest worries. Easy to go into LOS, but hard to get out if things get out of hand. Heard from a thai friend, said the situation is getting a little tense. Dunno lah. Want to postpone, also sian. Think I wait out this week and see how it goes. I hope the trial gets postpone :mad: Maybe should get Bro ML to shed some light on the situation now in BKK.

Lots of work!

Two notes:

- seems like you take the quoted price a bit too often, at gogos can usually get 1500 ST if you just ask for it, and at Patpong I've had 2000 all in (bar, room, girl).

- for a straightforward bonk, you should checkout the oil massage places on Sukhumvit. Tulip at Thong Lo BTS, Snow White and Mango near Phrom Phong (and the others in Soi 22), and various more down the road. That's 400/600/800 (1hr/90min/2hr) to the shop, and 1500 to the girl. At the three places I mentioned, you can take as many shots as you can handle.
