then those kind come and say customer is king... ur 50 very big ah? be steady abit la... not like u pay 500...

but lucky in this place i see most of us cheongsters and ML are still normal people :D except sometimes got some kings like to come and kpkb the the ML because they never get EVERYTHING they want...

Wrote a thread on this spa back in 2019. I entered the shop and was told that for normal body massage, only back and shoulder. anything below the back not included. In the end I walk off without ay massage.

Granted, some customer might be unreasonable in their demand, but bear in mind SGD 1 is to RMB 4.85. So multiply that by 50 :eek: for perspective, quite big in PRC especially in lower-tier areas. One ML told me that ironically when the exchange rate surged to more than RMB 5 per 1 SGD, it was during the CB months and they couldn't earn ! :D

Anyway there are many shops with different rates out there and different levels of service attitude. We have a free choice.

Back then I frequent this store with a regular viet ml, auto HJ without asking and I usually pay her afterwards. I love these kind without much asking one cause already mutual liao, sad that she went back.

Thanks for sharing. Live in the east and considered this spa before after seeing one of the ML post an ad on the FB group. But I saw that the spa has massage packages ranging from $5x to $85 so I guessed that they were going to upsell.

Will boycott this spa.

Honest view - now market ml all sub standard.....not like last time liao.....

Not chio or good figure, still want to ask for market rate.....

Chances of getting a chio and good ml.....as good as tio toto.....all the best bros...

In the end respect is still key la. ML or customer, you can be pissed or sian all you want, but at the end of the day, if you treat the other party politely that's all that matters. As a customer, you may or may not know if the joint is clean/dirty, but you have your own rights as a paying customer whether to accept extra services or even tip or not, cos there's nothing wrong in wanting just a normal massage, while tipping in our country is a courtesy not a given. As an ML, she has the rights to offer whatever services she is willing to offer each particular customer (whether or not it's legal or if the spa management allows that is a whole different issue la). That being said, there's also nothing wrong with MLs trying to upsell whatever P-massage, lymphatic drainage, kidney sth massage, or being selective in offering their extra services.

So, to me, it's how the ML or customer chooses to handle the situation that determines who is in the wrong. As long as both sides politely treat each other, there's no right or wrong. It's not wrong for ML to state facts that she earns mainly by specials or trying to gain customers' sympathy points, unless she continues pestering even after countless rejections, making the customer feel uncomfortable, or choose to give sub-standard massage, then it is definitely wrong. As for customers, there's no wrong in not tipping or not accepting extras la, unless you treat the ML with disrespect or threaten them in any way la like threaten to report to the boss or AV. that being said, it's oso not wrong to ask if there are extended menus once GQ is popped, as long as u don't demand it. Asking ML if there are extras before GQ is popped is debatable la, cos some MLs might take offence and feel disrespected.

Long story short: it's all just a business exchange, so whatever experience you may encounter, diff ppl diff perspectives of right/wrong, so just treat your ML with respect and it's all that matters, even if service not up to standard. Don't like it, just don't go back anymore after that.

Thanks for this thread TS. I went to the same Spa and experienced the same bad encounter few weeks ago. The ML pestered me to take up the Korean massage and when I rejected her, she black faced me and gave me a lousy massage. She still have the cheek to ask me for HJ and the price is $100.
