Just had my first experience stepping into one of the PRC KTVs at Peace Mansion.

Really don't know what to expect as I usually cheong Malay KTVs and only had an experience in Viet KTV.

Reached at around 9pm, just anyhow go over the counter and asked if they have a public hall for me to sit. Staff was friendly enough to guide me inside and I took a seat and ordered a glass of beer.

During that time, no performances. The hall looks like a hanging flower concept, which I have only been to once at another really small joint. Was told that I needed to wait for 30min for performances.

Also enquired about the rooms. There are easily over 10 rooms available and all are very decently decorated. If I buy a beer and want to book a room, it would cost me around $150. If I buy tower or bottle, think the room would be much cheaper or FOC.

Some girls were sitting around the hall's sofa, just chilling and a handful of early bros there, boosting on how popular they are at the KTV. Quality of girls seemed quite low.

I did not get a room, just finished my beer and fruits platter and left.

Which brings me to a few questions.

1. If I were in a room alone with just 1 glass of beer, what do the ladies who come into my room do? They don't drink? haha

2. I know there is a butterfly system. Each girl that comes to my room, say for example, I give them $20 tip for staying for 15min. If every hour 4 different girls come by and I stayed for 3 hours, I would be tipping $20 x 4 x 3 = $270? Does not sound like a good deal. Some bros still have to bring girls out for supper to see if there is a chance of something happening in the end.
