songkran is a lot of fun and i've been to nearly 10! :D Old birds remember that Lionel Ritchie video , dancing in the streets? its exactly like that on Pattaya's beach and 2nd road and I imgine in KS road. Beach and 2nd road is as big as clementi so imagine the giant party going on as you move from bar to bar drinking , dancing and picking up girls. Some people go on multiple STs during this 'tour' but it will depend on how party-crazy is the girl. Beach road will be closed to traffic on 19th April every year and the beer companies as well as the major hotels wil have stages for bands , dancers and foam machines to promote their wares

The only OKTs in Bangkok are the tut tut drivers who are lazing around in their vehicles and mostly within big hotels or in tourist areas. They are alll very eager to assist you but expect you to pay ripp off prices when they bring you to massage places. They can also get puyings for you to see in your hotel ( if your hotel is guest friendly ). So, if you wanna get con , pay a huge amount of money to con men, get a lousy girl...........then seek out a tut tut driver........and.......... that is your and not mine business !.

You can personally view the ladies in the oil massage parlours, call them , select a lady if you have seen their website ( but pictures can be a bit misleading ).Most of them will allow you to bring the girl into your hotel ( if it is guest friendly ). Please expect to pay THB1000 for outside service and that do not includes THB1500 for one hour and half of "oil" massage.

like to post my experience on the tigerairways flight from sg to haikou on the 28th feb

as i witnessed, there was a passenger who encountered some medical emergency at the 2hr mark during the flight.

the flight attendants were not able to assess his medical condition and just took an oxygen gas tank to let him breathe.

a few minutes later, they started to ask for doctors and/or nurses to come forward to help the guy, btw the announcement was made in english when most of the passengers on board were from mainland china.

then later some guy came along and did some CPR on the fellow while even later on more china girls did CPR on the fellow. all this while the flight attendants did not do any CPR on the fellow.

later the flight was diverted to vietnam 1hr after the fellow had his medical condition. and it seems like the guy was dead as the flight attendants carried his body and left it on the seats without looking into him any further.

question is:

1. aren't flight attendants supposed to be trained in first aid
2. why didn't the plane land in thailand which i suspect is nearer since it's at the 2hr mark.
3. why didn't the flight attendants make the help announcement in mandarin

there u have it, budget airline with budget services!
