U can try Soi Holland, It is a small lane beside Sukumvit Soi 169... there are a few clubs.

1) Club X
2) Club Holland
3) ABC disco
4) Disco Smiles.

Thought of doing day trip to Ayutthaya (before sundown hitting bkk bar scene). Is the darned place mainly historical ruins? Hmm.. probably won't miss this touristy thingy.:p

been there once... the tour guide said for 9 temples to visit.... after visited 6th temple.... i found that they are all the same.... so asked the tour guide to send us back to bangkok early before night..... if you really like temple you should go... else... miss also nevermind la.... MHO :D

yup its mostly historical ruins but got real temples and monks for blessing there too...if you just going for sightseeing then really not much to see, cus you see one you see them all...but if you wanna relax have boat rides serene environment or into collecting jatukarm amulets, statues can go there;)

one thing i learnt never make any vows while praying at any temples, now i LL have to go back specially to return my promise to visit them again:o:(

Hi,

I have recently joined a new company and will be visiting BKK next week. This new company will be putting me up at grand millennium; while I understand how easy it is to travel around here can someone tell me if the hotel is girl friendly?

I tried to search this in the forum but only found some 1 mentioning about them staying here.

Already company booked gives you an idea that it is most probably not GF. Since it is free , you can book another room close by that is cheaper for other important 'work'. :p

If you mean Grand Millenium Sukhumvit. This hotel is next to Soi Cowboy and definitely guest friendly.
