It may not be as terrible this year as in previous years because the country is still in mourning. Loy Kratong was cancelled. Lunar New Year celebrations was cancelled. I believe Songkran will be cancelled too. :)

I guarantee u 100% u won't be able to reach airport in time if you leave on 19th Apr. Songkran "wan lai" will be still on as per normal. All music festival is already back to normal already. MAYA festival is this mth 17-18 Feb. S20 in bangkok also confirmed and tickets are selling out fast.

Btw i'll be in Pattaya from 16-20 April.

Roads jammed...... can try taking the ferry from Bali Hai pier to Hua Hin and fly out from Krabi airport. :D

Share 1 exprience with u guys while i was in Pattaya last night. I almost tio scam by a ladyboy pretending to be real gal. Found a contact on wechat (already asked whether real gal or ladyboy) & arranged meetup at Mac near my hotel.

When i saw him i felt something fishy with the the way he was walking plus large feet and legs. Asked him if he's ladyboy but he showed IC and name is Miss plus name. After still feeling not right abouth his vioce, i made my escape.

Just wanna check with u guys that now ladyboys can change their title on IC from MR to MISS meh? Really dangerous sia!
