:confused:Airport to Bangkok downtown about 30km. Pattaya is about 90 to 100km away. 45 minutes is do-able if taxi speeds like crazy. Should have taxis in the queue but they charge a flat rate of BHT1500 to BHT2000 one way.

Thanks to all for your valuable input. I think I'll either take the limo or grab a taxi off the queue since the price diff is not that great.

This trip is gonna be a yearly pilgrimage for me.. And I just wanna relax after 5 consecutive days of cheonging in Chang an and Chang ping.

Don't liddat say me lah... I have no mm to meet.. It's just that I want to avoid the hassle of changing hotels here and there. Just want to reach the destination asap and sleep. Btw any arb nam place to recommend in pattaya?

I think those taxis queue are meant for downtown Bangkok and you have to look for those limo counter that service to Pattaya or those drivers hanging around the hall.

No lah, just my personal opinion. Might be in Patt on that date as you and go direct from airport if confirm.:D

you got to be kidding! This is not singapore where you can cover pasir ris to 2nd link in less than 2hr! When Don Maung was still used for International flights , it took more than 2hrs 30mins ON A GOOD DAY!

My record was more 12hrs ; Don Maung to Pattaya hotel! 5555555 :p

Took the early flight to Don Maung but went to MBK for late lunch and to wait for a friend. Then went to Ekamai and took the bus to Pattaya. Reached before midnite! The stupid thing was we went on a friday/ friday evening and everything from DonMaung to getting onto the highway from Ekamai took 3 times usual timing!

The taxi queue will take your request to go pattaya ; just let the lady at the stand know. I took only once but it was smooth and no probem at all. Should be under 1.5kB incl tolls.

Limo counters to me are all looking for carrot heads! :rolleyes:

Nowadays I usually take Bells coz its cheap and bring you direct to hotel lobby.

hmmm ... the girls there nt bad i can say when i was there tt time nt much girls there ... but i finish mine went out to wait for my friend lots of girls inside.. damage 2500 bhatt - 100 bhatt for drinks

but for my study when i sitting there dun choose those young plus good looking will regret choose those liek 6 /10 or 7 ./10 n u can tell the mummy u looking for my service den she will intro u ..

It's a nostalgic trip for me.. Been 10yrs since I last went there... Thought of hua hin initially but just went there last year and found the place crowded with nihon jins.
