Bro, the bank is closed only for renovations. It will be reopened in 2 months time, somewhere in Oct.

Go on with your FRs, no worries about flaming here on re-posting places. Honestly, can't be that many new places even in city of angels to uncover. Don't expect noobs and odd weekenders to do the off beaten track places. Realistically, they better off doing the tried (and thrusted) places with constraints of time and language.

So easy to complain, criticise on lack of new prospects here. Flak on oldies here on being 'gods' preaching to noobs is unwarranted.

Not many here are fortunate to be in your frequent flyer league, so can benefit from your recce missions.

No sea around BKK but rivers. :D U can try Chao Phaya river. A few hotels there have jazz music. You want sea?? Pattaya, Rayong, Huahin, Chaam :D

For great city views, try

1. Blue Sky on 24th floor of Sofitel Centara Grand Hotel
2. Vertigo and Moon bar on top of Banyan Tree
3. Breeze on 52nd floor of State Tower
4. Red Sky Bistro on 55th floor of CentralWorld

Next to Chao Phraya either Mandarin Oriental or Shangri-la. Caveat: All above are pricey.

Baiyoke hotel is tall enough to view the scenery you want. I nearly wanted to book this hotel but this hotel is rather old to me. So i changed my mind and book another hotel instead.
