Words of advise
  • never carry too much money enough for the night in your pocket
  • normally I will separate the big change from the small in different pockets to avoid drop when paying taxi and etc
  • never take out your driving license together with you for cheonging scene just in case drunk
  • passport ~ i always keep in the safe so far nobody ever block me yet...seniors advice?

This is what I do and stay safe all these while even in Vietnam, especially China and India....!:D

Think I was there once at 4.30am and it was still open.

wonder if u guys watched the HK drama "ZHEN FEN DUO MIAO" which starred my babelicious sririta jensen?? :D

totally agreed with bro playman ...
carry onli what's enough and never put all in one place ...

i'll always have a waist pouch whenever i travel ...
it have a few compartments and i can put things in separate place ...
and i always carry one credit card and one bank card with me ...
the waist pouch will always be in front of my hip and make it a habit to touch it frequently and when u sense too many ppl ard u, put one hand over the pouch ...
or if u carry a wallet, make sure it's in ur front pocket and not ur back pocket ..

passport, extra cash, extra credit card will deposit in the hotel room safe ..

sometime i used to sling my waist pouch on my shoulder, but senior bros in PRC advise me not to and since then, i dun do that anymore ...

Prevention is better than cure ...

but some times, these thieves r too smart and skillful ....
one moment of distraction and u could be the victim ..

Be Careful, You Must ...

Good morning Bros,

just to check wif ya all. Is it troublesome to make a police report in BKK?

Coz I just checked my insurance, is possible to claim back a small amount due to theft. :p

Not enough to cover but at least cut losses, esp replacement of license and the passport card.

No, it is not really that troublesome to make a report it is better to make a report as least you have some documentation and proof for you insurance company to see and you can also make the report in English.

Hope this info helps!:D

ya, i think i went to this joint before. its near the police station and fire engines parked opposite this joint. a few shops away from this joint should be a tattoo shop.

this shop is quite popular with locals going for the isaan steamboat (the small brown ceramic pot) or the korean bbq thing (mu ka tak). price is nt very cheap but acceptable range. live football telecasts and quite easy to spot some poosaos eating their suppers wearing either the clubbing attire or their home-relak clothes.

well, for laksa, i tried before at siam paragon's secret recipe. not that good and its way too ex for a laksa without see hum and seafood. not worth the money. if i remembered correct, i think it costs over 100 thb. i felt its an extortion when the taste was not that authentic.. too subtle.

but no choice, that time i kinda got bored of thai street food and fish sauce. so i went around and hunt for singapore food. or even malay food. haha.

found out that some chiangmai food and delicacies are actually taste similar to malay and sg food. eaten at one stall which i think is Ratchada soi 18 (not very confirmed. hope bros staying at ratchada even-numbered sois can correct me) there is a shop selling chiangmai food and its nice. some are like the nonya kuehs.. and i even ate one dish similar to our otah.. but theirs are bigger pieces of the fish meat. thats similar to our mackerel otah. haha.

Nah, I meant passport card, think is ICA card. It's a card to get through the gates easier. Esp Sing-JB side, just slot card, scan thumbprint and go, no need long queue for passport chop. Works for airports and stuff also. Got it when chionging Malaysia last time.
