I've always wondered what happened to that Gibson Street place. I assume that is closed down because business wasn't great. Whenever I went there - which was generally in the middle of a working day, or occasionally after work, there was noone else there. But I assume they were a lot busier on weekend evenings. What also surprised me, is that the owner spent a fair bit if money on decking out the 4 rooms with (for an Adelaide brothel) reasonable furniture and each room had its own shower. That must have cost him several 10's of thousands I'd bet. And the place was only open for 1-2 years I think as well.
The owner did tell me once he had complaints from the neighbours about customers parking in their car park - even though it was just a storage shed that was closed all the time.

Thank you for the advice. I know Thailand is fun but firstly I miss the Malaysians, PRCs, Koreans, locals and Russians. Imagine the pleasure of tasting all these flavor all in one trip. I went back to 121 South Road on Tuesday, and I can confirm they still do the 15 minute specials. That day, they had 2 fairly hot and young (early 20's?) As for flights to SIN - well I admire your efforts in travelling to Melbourne first, but disagree that it is worth that effort. So you'd basically be looking at $860 for a return to Singapore. On top of that, you have the additional travelling time, and transit time in Melbourne. I reckon you're way better taking the daily direct flight to SIN on SIA. Only 6 hours, I have never been on it when it has left late and I beleive it basically leaves on time every day, as it is like a shuttle servive between ADL and SIN. It also generally arrives in SIN early, at a good time of day just before dinner. True, it is a bit expensive - A$1000 or so in off-peak time - but I reckon it's worth it, as I reckon the time/money spent going via Melbourne make the direct flight worth the extra money.

The other thing is the Krisflyer membership is free. Get an ANZ or $$$$$$$ credit card and the points you earn can be transferred into Krisflyer miles as well. I've found that say, 3 return trips (in economy) ADL-SIN, plus say 2-3 years of average spending on one of thee credit cards, is enough for a free ADL-SIN trip on SIA.
