Maybe random fishing. Or they could have accomplice at the shrine observing and selecting potential targets. Possibly with pics and video clips sent to those in the car.

Every country people have their unique characteristics..... just by observing their dressing and behaviour can guess which country they are from..... even better if they open mouth to speak.

I remenber when I was new to the travel industry.... my company sent me to a tour guide course conducted by the STPB.
In one of the lessons...... we were taught to observe the differences of people from various countries..... and during the test paper later we were shown a video of various people and had to list them according which country we think they are from.
30 MCQ and the pass mark is 80% so we have to have at least 24 answers correct to pass.

Thai PM went to China recently and this was one of the topics discussed with XJP. Also took action such as cutting power to supposedly scam centres. If Chinese stop coming as scared of scams, their tourist industry tio jialat jialat

I usually travel to BKK alone. Never bother to respond to any stranger who talks to me. I will just smile, give a little nod and walk on. Don’t even bother to stop walking.
