recently, keep going in jb for some fun. but wife saw phone bill and ask why i go jb so often now a days.

any solution? think of getting a malaysia idd sim card so i can call back to sg. looking for cheap and feasible solution. tks . bros.

Dun reli get u but I assume ur from Singapore ? Well it's quite cheap to maintain a malaysian sim card. Just use an alt phone or simcard to make calls while ur at Malaysia. No point leavin trails of evidence if ur havin fun over JB rite ?

Do beware, wife if they are suspiscious will even try callin up those no. listed on ur phone bills. Prepaid are the way to go if u wanna keep contacts of fl or okt or brudders if u dun have strong enough reasons to explain to the wife. :D

Hope ur bills will be destroyed by u asap else prepare to explain why those no. u called are answered by those ppl especially if they r not people from your work nor circle of friends. :cool:

I notice the topic roaming hence might be meaning ur phone is roaming with malaysian service provider hence roaming ? Try check at ur phone setting if can set to manual and try to set it to ur service provider starhub, singtel, dun let it auto roam coz once auto it will jump to maxis, celcom, digi, so on. Well this will need ur skills to explain why kenot reach u if ur phone is out of service. Anyway I still suggest gettin a local malaysian line if u do indeed call ppl at malaysia. Always wipe clean b4 and after eating. Have funz ~

hi bro,

you can always use the excuse, i go to somewhere near customs ... i remembered when i was staying in singapore and with free roaming, my M1 phone always will become celcom etc ... but this is only when u are near the border areas ... now whether the same or not, need to experiment ...

but the sim card is easy to get, but need to top up every mth to keep account active ... and if u 3 mths never top up, ur number gets locked up for 1 yr ...

yup goot idea, can buy their sim card;) but actualli most of de times i go jb set my phone fixed to my singapor telco, still can recive leh, unless u go veri far off fm the town centre ;)

I hv encountered b4 whereby my phone was roamed 2 MY network while i was still in SG.

The tuas area & woodlands area which is near MY 2 be exact.

sorry guys, maybe i did not make myself clear. Im sgian using singtel isp. when i go jb steal eat, my phone will auto roam. i will not pick up calls cos if i do my phone bills will show im in jb and the time im there. but i need to return most of my calls. so if i get a malaysia prepaid sim card with a 2nd phone, i can use it to return call right? which means i will be pay idd from jb to sg right? any cheaper solutions? cos i get at least 10 calls in an hour. my wife pay all the bills incl my mobile bills. so she will open and look mah.

What's wrong with telling her that you go makan in JB? It's cheaper ma. Just get someone to back you up.

So u must have 2 handphone, one wif ur singtel another wif my provider. Make sure u set ur main line to singtel only at the phone settings there dun let it go auto. Then when u get calls use ur my phone to call but it might be costly coz my provider call to sg leh. Another way is just stick to current line n phone but make sure ur able to get singtel and not autoroam certain phone can set while others cant. Good luck else steal eat must wipe clean lo if u owez go solo then abit had to convince, if u go with a friend then just explain u 2 go jb eat seafood or sate or anything. :D Just make sure ur excuse is logical else u might have much more trouble later.

easy maa fren.. u go to any handphone shop there and ask for prepaid line. cost only rm8.00++ with some credit inside. u can also top up with rm10 or rm30. only that u have to register the line but they will do it for and takes only half hour to 1 hour. u can ask for maxis prepaid, celcom prepaid or digi prepaid sim card.

ah ya u guys dont u know there is a card call digi chat ? u get a malaysian card buy the digi chat and reg it on the phone.
U only need to call the toll free number and it will give u a mis call to call any were in the world to china is only 0.13 cent and sing i think is 0.20 or 0.30 cent

Just get a Digi or Maxis card.. Its easy..

For Digi top up RM100 should keep your line active for 1year.

Maxis has this Hotlink 365, pay RM33 and your line will be active for 1year. Need to topup about 30RM every 6mths if im not wrong.

So my advice is to maintain a Malaysian Prepaid number, im doing the same too.. :D

Yes that is correct but to make cheap international call top up the Digi chat IDD call card.1st u need to buy 1 digi chat to register on your phonenormally u get it at Digi center not every where can get your can register on any pre or post paid .
The digi chat have in value of 10rm 30rm & 50rm and 10rm u can call to China with a talk time 70-80min.
