1K is good some though it may depend on officers mood. They generally ask to show money to young girls who they suspect might involve in illegal activities.

however, if you have any bf/relative/friends to support your travel then it makes your life easier. Though you need to provide NRIC number of that person.

If you have ATM/Credit Card then you may show that too as your means of living/surviving in Singapore.

If you are bold (not afraid) and fluent in speaking English then it makes your life easier.
