Married without kids not by choice?
 

Anyone here married but due to fertility issues you do not have kids.

Care to share your experience and what you did?

Did you go to adoption? or decided to remain childless?

How did you make that decision for either decisions?

Did you and your wife have relationship issues because of been childless?

Any sharing will be appreciated.

Bro having a child be it natural or adoption is a lifetime
commitment

If you and or wife are ready then it's all well and good
as you're doing a very noble thing

My friend de friend de friend also married many years with no kids.
IVF scared pain and expensive.
Adoption scared got commitment issues later.
Dunno about their sexlife.
But see them happy happy go JB shop/eat/buy groceries every weekend.

One of my uncle, and his wife does have such problem.

He is 30 and she is 28 at that time. His sperm was found not healthy due to that he took drugs, in the past. They tried for several years, took all sort of medicines, and seek medical help (Chinese, Western etc) but still don't have.

After all these years (About 15 years le), they both are still seedless. They never thought of adoption as they prefer to have their own. Or deep inside, perhaps they still hoping to have kids...

Their life is still usual... And at first, relatives will ask those question that... When want have kids ar... Etc... Till now, they don't really both ask, or entertain already...

TS, it's a couple's decision whether to hve a kid, adopted or otherwise as mentioned by some bros, the couple must want a child and the responsibilities and joys tat come with it.

I know two couples, one which finally had kids and the other, decided at the end...not to.

Couple A tried everything, from IVF to visiting temples and after 10 long yrs, had their 1st kid and went on to hve their 2nd kid. They are so thankful, they went round to all the temples they've visited in the past 10yrs to give their thanks.

Couple B tried for a several yrs to hve kids, visiting docs and IVF and so on and so forth. They finally decided to give up and now is happy together, hving time to go holidays and spend their hard earn money pampering themselves.

Both couples are happy.....tat is the most important thing.

Hv quite a few ex-colleagues who r not able to conceive..dunno is it the man or wife's prob

For root cause analysis and solution, the couple will need specialist advice but more importantly, both couples must handle this as a...couple and not get into the blame game on who's fault.

At the end of the of the day, they must make all decisions as one, be it to go for IVF, adoption or even not hving children. There is only one right direction....the direction the couple decides to take :D.

I used to have problems conceiving and now I have a couple of lovely kids (boy first then girl).


After getting married for a while, we decide to start getting serious about getting pregnant. To our surprise, cannot get pregnant. So went to see western doctor, got put on a fucking regime (damn sian I must say) and to no avail after a few months.

Not willing to try in vitro fertilisation, we went chinese medicine style and started cooking chinese medicine to take daily for almost a year. After spending tons of money also no get pregnant.

So finally give up hope and start planning for life without kids. Wala! wife got pregnant and we had a healthy boy. Later did not even plan and the girl arrived.

My conclusion is that must relax, all the planning, regime, medicine etc really got us all stressed. like that even harder to get pregnant.

I also think the chinese medicine and healthy lifestyle (exercise, no smoking etc) helped in getting our bodies ready.

Finally, some religions believe in good karma so do more good deeds and hope for the best.
