I chose Rei because Saran was unavailable at the time (I really wanted to met her), and eventhough Kira is probably an amazing domina, I prefer younger dominas.
Another good thing about Osaka I forgot to tell: They had a quite decent bdsm-hotel nearby for the "rest" rate of 3100 Yen. The normal hotel they used was only 2000 yen. Not bad, and definetely part of the equation.
In Nagoya it was opposite: Super expensive lovehotels and no bdsm-rooms I could find.

I totally concur with your thoughts on comparing Thailand to Japan.
There are few good Mistresses here in Thailand as the scene is really only been around for the last 10 years or so vs. an ingrained culture of SM in Japan.
Bottom line is if you want the best scene and Mistresses in the world - you gotta go to Japan.
The only thing Japan really lacks is large and plentiful dungeon spaces/environments like they have in Germany.
