I did have one or two relationships with a mistress that can be called romantic. Didn't find it particularly fulfilling long term wise. Not sure if that is the view in the west.

Falling in love with a domme or trying to impress her is never wise. Other than to satisfy one self's egoistic tendencies I do not see a reason why these dommes should be treated differently from the FLs or other girls that one goes to for sexual release. It really should be a business transaction although most guys will be clouded by self made excuses like...she really knows what I want...so sexy to submit to someone half my age...

I have been thru this stage before so I thought I'm in a better position to comment but of course you are free to think otherwise. Most Japanese men too regard such transactions as business-like. They do bring gifts but these come from the perspective of a tribute. It is easy to get withdrawal symptoms after fantastic sessions in japan. Call it the lack of culture and quality locally. I reckon singapore girls can be just as sexy or sexier than most Japanese girls. It's a pity that they do not pro domme.
