Is it Club SherBERT or SherBET?
Anyways went down there 2 Thurdays ago. As some of you might know I don't patronize local TDs coz of the costs but I do need occasionally need my puying fix
Reached the Parklane around 9pm and had a quick dinner on the 5th floor. This food outlet has been here for ages despite all the joints that have sprung up in Parklane! Even Tuberose got a makeover and it looks quiet classy, like those China KTVs, from the outside. Being the eve of the long weekend the whole building was full of mongers looking for PRC, Viet and Thai company.
The club is located at the basement just behind the McDonalds as you walk in from the main doors. Small but cozy place with about 30 +/- puyings and some 5 or 10? 台妹 on duty. We ordered our beers - 2 towers for $98 the whole night (this one win already!) and settled in as the band started to play. Plenty of puchai singers for the ladies to hang flowers as evident from a table near us. Singers are a mix of Sinkies, Thai, Taiwanese and even Indonesians? Thats what my girl told me! Belting out English, Thai and Chinese bar favorites.
Place has about 30 plus tables which quickly filled up before midnight. Not bad for a place that just opened. We all each had a girl and I must say they are not pushy for drinks, which I like, unlike some places. Difficult balance - boss wants girls to sell more, customer dun like to be pressured. I would say the girls quality varies but overall OK as my good friend said "like G Club" 555+ dunno what that is suppose to mean!
I sat with Cream, 24 years old, working at Jap KTV in Thonglor with big knockers which my good friend cannot keep his eyes off. We started slow but she can't drink well so after a few rounds of dice and 5/10s.... hehehe
I guess it depends on luck, initiative and timing how far you can go.
4 towers, a few flowers and LDs later we all called it a night. Great night out in Sinkiepoor, at least for me.
