I used to have problems conceiving and now I have a couple of lovely kids (boy first then girl).
After getting married for a while, we decide to start getting serious about getting pregnant. To our surprise, cannot get pregnant. So went to see western doctor, got put on a fucking regime (damn sian I must say) and to no avail after a few months.
Not willing to try in vitro fertilisation, we went chinese medicine style and started cooking chinese medicine to take daily for almost a year. After spending tons of money also no get pregnant.
So finally give up hope and start planning for life without kids. Wala! wife got pregnant and we had a healthy boy. Later did not even plan and the girl arrived.
My conclusion is that
must relax, all the planning, regime, medicine etc really got us all stressed. like that even harder to get pregnant.
I also think the chinese medicine and healthy lifestyle (exercise, no smoking etc) helped in getting our bodies ready.
Finally, some religions believe in good karma so do more good deeds and hope for the best.
