I see..seems like nothing much have changed after all these years. However hotel drivers are also taking commission so not much differences from ojek? Unless those ojeks keep following me around and insist on bringing me to go eat and stuff. Have encountered this sort of stuff at batam before.
Taking oplet seems interesting. Will love to try if I have the chance.

So how did you get around during this trip? Driver? Which hotel did you stay at? Any polisi harassment?
