Generally, onyx and route66 is a place where young Thais go party. Not so much of a pick up joint. I do not understand/fathom why a lot of SG guys think they can hook girls up for free at clubs like this. Many a times I go onyx , I see tables of sg guys come in groups ( sausage party ) drink up and go back home alone. This is Bangkok. Not some SG Thai discos where pretty Thai girls will come say hi to u and sit with u. Not unless u will hang some flowers for her later.
If anyone want easy pick up , u can head to insanity/scratchdog/levels/mixx etc to pick up working ladies. The girls there are looking out for guys to go back.
The forum itself no longer provide latest info/updates ( at least for the Bangkok threads) on places to go. Most of the active posters are already out of the cheonging scene or not in Bangkok. The active ones who come often are reluctant to post their FRs after their trips. Lol.
There are plenty of new places to go in Bangkok.
