last month a maid also ask me to lend $$ to her, 1st time ask i told her I not rich no spare cash, 2nd time ask again then i just not replying her message.
there is another maid who borrowed my old handphone using some excuse ... after 2 months she said want go back and never return the phone..
never lend anything to maid ... you sure will not get back
