I used to live & die only for football ... playing competitively from the age of 8 until 30 - that's when I had to slow down after suffering a serious injury to my spine.
Since then, I've only been following the fortunes of LFC religiously - even the World Cup or Euro Championships DUN get such undivided attention from me ... as for playing the game, you'd still find me on the field occasionally (though I spend more time on the golf course these days). In fact, until the team dissolved almost 2 years ago, I was playing week in week out for the Forum team.
