Hahaha, but I think must be fair a bit la bro. The bar itself is already a weight (can't remember, 10 pounds?). Many female gym rats use it alone to tone and tighten, not to build mass. They want slender lean bodies.
It's basic gym work. Light weight and more reps to tone and tighten. Heavy weights , less reps to build muscle mass and bulk.
