No two ways about it. Just avoid crowded places and wear a mask if you're unwell. If everyone is more responsible and don't practice the "if i have it, i want everyone else to have it as well so i don't suffer alone" mentality.
Nothing much can be done about those asymptomatic people and still spreading the virus... wearing a mask doesn't fully protect you from it either.

May I add that it is equally irresponsible to have the "scared don't chiong and chiong don't scared" attitude, because unlike STDs which is passed through sexual contacts, COVID-19 can be easily passed between strangers who happen to be at the same place, even if not at the same time.
