Evidently there is a mismatch between the Professional's mindset and the Client's mindset.
Client's concern and interest were not addressed, instead the Professional was solely focus on cross-selling and in this case upselling which could potentially make the Client feel repulsive.
The Professional's approach to the Client's concern and interest must be genuine and understanding. The challenge is no longer about how to cross-sell or upsell because this will lead to a pushy selling style.
