Is hostessing ever allowed in Singapore during Pre-Covid Times?
These hostesses employed by the KTVs/Nightclubs are under those Foreign Performing Artiste Work Permit AKA Singer Permit. These are commonly used by KTVs / Hang Flower Joints in Singapore. By DEFAULT, their job is to sing/perform at their joints and not even allowed to mingle with customers.
There are also some under Social Visit Visa/Special Pass that are working in these places too.
As we always know, our govt just "Close One Eye" if no complaints made to these places. When Police/AV come raid, these artistes just return to stage or resting areas as long not caught mingling with customers
