Re: Feeling stuck in current job
Doing administrative job is fun. No need much thinking. Problem is need to know a lot of languages, cantonese, hokkien, chaozhou, malay etc. , not the ji te ji te few words kind. Really is converse fully with little or no english/chinese words in between. Then need to be knowledgable, know local affairs a bit.
Really talk full hokkien with the aunties/uncles, of course there is some resistence. Nowadays Singapore really a wasteland, young malays and indians like to play play talk ji te ji te chinese. Then talk full hokkien to aunty, all diam diam.
Dun really respect hyprocrispy malays and rojak indians. Chiobu chinese girls feel v comfortable pouring their real feelings to malays, what to do?
Damn lazy to continue the talking, because not easy to learn and practise hokkien as part of daily activities in this messy singapore and malaysia environment. Go learn one or two english from pofession industry leaders, see what you rcv? Yolo, dun get trapped in the lokang.
