Go to Pataya & Hua Hin (Jazz music & quiet beach). For temple trip, proceed to Authuya, many ancient temples. Fly to Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai with Thai Air Asia, I think there is a on going fairly good deal promotion for domestic flight. Hope it helps.
