Totally agree about the "eat like a mouse", though - one small bowl of road-side noodles which takes me 2 minutes to finish (all of 25 baht) is all they need for dinner. They love to order a lot, though - that part is true. While Singaporeans order a hell lot and eat a hell lot more, Thai girls order a lot (maybe they just can't decide), eat a few mouthfuls, declare they are full and spend the rest of the night sitting there drinking beer (or whiskey) and listening to Thai bands perform.
Ah, life in Thailand. I'm missing it already.

Yup, it's like they could never finish shopping for more clothes, beauty products, shoes ... but then again don't most gals do that ...
but becos their stuff are way cheaper than Sillypore has to offer, then tend to "over-buy" and "share" clothes with their "sisters" ... hahaha.
More so when they have a "carrot-head" to chop ... then it's not only their stuff, but the stuff of family members ... children included ..
Guess the part about ordering lots of food also has its' roots in most Asian cultures not only Thais ... coz the more food u have on the table is a mark of lavish living - U can afford to feed your guests at the table .. But hack, when there's only 2 of u ... that's overkilling it ..
But then, why do we go back for more .. it's becos we get treated way better by them then our own countrywomen .. sad but true ... hahaha
