How much was the "fine"? This is utterly ridiculous. Some years back one brown turd at the Batam customs "fined" me for wearing slippers

Of course, common sense got the better of me and I asked him what it would take to let me through. He said 20. I said OK, but I got to get small change. He allowed me out to change $ and I came back in and slipped RP20,000 into my passport. He tossed it back at me and said 20 dollars.
