Re: unusual stuffs you wish to do?
I do. Drivers will know that driving can be a boring and lonely journey. Really missed the chiobus that I will get to see when I used to take a bus or train. So whenever I drive past a bus stop or stop at a traffic light, I will glance for any chio bu sitting alone at a bus stop or a chio bu crossing the street just in front of my car.
Always wanted to just wind down my window, asked these chio bus where they are going, invite them into my car and drive there to their destinations. Maybe it sounds a little bo liao but at least I feel it gets me out of the daily monotony of life. Do something unusual to make yourself feel alive, kind of.
Recently I went to a QB House to cut my hair. The shop's located beside a MRT and Bus Interchange. I didn't realise the shop only starts at 11am so ended up wondering around. A tall girl approached me and asked me if I speak Chinese. Turns out this PRC girl is lost and looking for directions. She's headed for a residential area 10 mins walk away from the station. I tried to find out if there's a bus that reaches there. None. So I told her i got so time before my barber shop opens and I can drive her there. Her eyes went wild,
thought for a while, said 'No' and walked away before I can say anything else.
Disappointed, I waited and went for my hair-cut. On my way home, I drove past the area where this PRC student was heading for. Saw her walking on the street, horned at her and waved like an idiot. She recognised me and walked towards my car. She's perspiring like mad. Turns out she's walking for the last 30 mins and still nowhere near the location. Drove her to her location, a terrace house. Wished her well, dropped her off and drove off. She's probably available for a price, with a lot of sweet talk added in as well but that's not the point.
